Statement on Royal Darwin Hospital Capacity Management – Code Yellow lifted 18 February

NT Government

The Code Yellow at the Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals (RDPH) has been lifted.

The number of COVID-19 positive patients at Royal Darwin Hospital has reduced and, in addition, infection prevention and control strategies have been reconfigured to utilise resources and manage needs.

Patient safety is always a priority and the dedicated and expert staff at RDPH work hard every day to ensure Territorians continue to receive the best patient centred care possible.

NT Health continues to urge people who have non-emergency health needs to see their GP as soon as they become sick to try to avoid becoming acutely unwell.

Thank you to the hard working NT Health staff and to the community for their understanding and patience.
