Our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of the employee working on Snowy 2.0 who was tragically killed in a road incident today.
Everyone deserves to come home safe from work.
Snowy Hydro Limited (SHL) notified the Government of the incident this afternoon, and has advised that the site has been shut down for the night and tomorrow day.
The Government expects the highest standards of safety at Snowy 2.0 and all worksites, and will engage closely with SHL and unions in the aftermath of this tragic incident.
