Stonnington libraries book recommendations for Mother’s Day

With a Mother’s Day like no other coming up, the City of Stonnington Libraries team have recommended a list of books that will make the perfect stay at home Mother’s Day gift.

City of Stonnington Mayor, Cr Steve Stefanopoulos, says that Stonnington has great bookstores offering pickup and delivery and Mother’s Day is the perfect time to support them.

“This is a different Mother’s Day, one to check on your mother and make sure she’s doing OK but also to let her know how special she is to you as I will be doing.

“Our wonderful Stonnington libraries team have recommended a list of books to pick from and give to your mother as she spends more time at home.

“We have great bookstores across Stonnington offering delivery or pickup, support them when you’re buying something for your mother this Mother’s Day.

“Stay safe, stay home as much as possible, support our local businesses and look after your mother, we’re in this together,” said Cr Stefanopoulos.
