Storytime Adventures At Library

Kempsey Shire Council

A delightful Storytime session was held at Kempsey Library last week, hosted by Piper the Story Dog and her human, Helen.

The event was enjoyed by 11 children and 8 parents. Focused on the vibrant colours found in nature, the children were captivated by tales that vividly brought to life the hues of the natural world.

After the storytelling, they engaged in a hands-on activity, creating nature colour wheels. Using a variety of plants and flowers collected from the library gardens, each child crafted their own colourful wheel.

They demonstrated great enthusiasm and skill in matching the natural colours, impressing both Helen and Piper with their creativity and hard work.

It was a day filled with learning, play, and the joy of nature. A big thank you to Piper, Helen and everyone who attended the event.
