Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service responded to a structure fire at a mine site in Nhulunbuy yesterday.
At 5:45pm, Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a fire at the Electrical Warehouse at the mine on Melville Bay Road.
Firefighters attended the scene and along with the Mine’s Emergency Response Team , isolated the power, completed a search and extinguished the flames.
No injuries were reported.
Five offices within the warehouse were damaged and a fire investigator is currently on route to Nhulunbuy to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
