Summer Activation events to cool down hot summer

Summer activition events are being held across the region

Annually since January 2017, we have been running the Summer Activation events at our local pools. These are a great event where the community gets together for some summer fun.

“We hope to see you at the pool for the Summer Activation events this summer! We always have a lot of fun, with the community getting together and escaping the summer heat,” Team Leader, Aquatics Toni Taylor said.

Saturday 7 December will be the first Summer Activation event of 2019 and it is being held in conjunction with the Bungendore Community Christmas Party. Pool games, archery tag, and The Grinch (2018) movie on the outdoor screen at 8pm will keep the whole family having fun. There will be free fruit, popcorn and drinks donated by IGA Bungendore. Entry to the pool will be free from 5pm and we ask patrons to give a gold coin donation to be distributed to the Bungendore Swimming Club.

On Thursday 19 December, it will be Braidwood’s turn. Celebrate the end of the school year at Braidwood Pool. Pool games, a movie at 6.30pm (Aladdin 2019) and a free BBQ and drinks kindly donated by Coles. Entry to the pool will be free from 5pm and we ask patrons to give a gold coin donation to be distributed to the Braidwood Swimming Club.
