Surf Coast Shire community satisfaction survey about to start

community survey

The Surf Coast Shire annual community satisfaction survey will start on 30 January.

Over a three-week period, Surf Coast Shire households may receive a call from an independent market research agency asking questions about Council’s performance.

Every year, the Victorian Government manages the survey on behalf of all local councils to measure the community’s perception of their performance over the past year.

The survey – which involves 600 telephone interviews – will be conducted by National Field Services, an Australian based independent market research agency.

Mayor Cr Rose Hodge said the survey would provide Council with valuable feedback.

“Both resident and non-based resident ratepayers may receive a call, so I encourage anyone who does to take the survey,” she said.

“Individual responses and details remain confidential and are not shared with council; we only see the overall results.”

“The survey results let us know what’s working well and help guide service improvements, so it’s a great opportunity for people to provide feedback.”

If residents and property owners have any questions about the survey, they can go to www.surfcoast.vic.gov.au/request or phone 5261 0600.
