Suspicious death of woman in Pymble

Police are investigating following the discovery of a woman’s body in Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

Emergency services were called to a unit on Bobbin Head Road, Pymble, just after 10am today (Wednesday 27 November 2019), following concerns for the welfare of a resident.

Officers forced entry to the unit and discovered the body of a woman, who has not been formally identified, but believed to be aged in her 30s.

A crime scene has been established which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

A post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
