Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the death of a woman at Coopers Creek.
Investigators have been told a 18-year-old woman from NSW was wading in the Thomson River with family about 4.30pm on Monday afternoon.
She was seen to go under the water and did not resurface.
Emergency services were contacted and a search commenced.
The woman’s body was located about 10.45pm.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
