Good news!
A teenager missing in the Shalvey area has been located.
The 15-year-old was last seen when he was dropped off at a school in Bidwell, around 10.30am yesterday (Wednesday 23 August 2023).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following a public appeal, the boy was located in Canberra today (Thursday 24 August 2023).
Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
