A teenager reported missing from the Hunter Valley region has been located safe.
The 15-year-old girl was last seen in Paxton – about 10km south of Cessnock, about 3.30pm on Saturday 25 November 2023.
When she could not be located, officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal, the girl was located in Newcastle about 11.30pm yesterday (Monday 27 November 2023).
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
