Third person charged after man stabbed, NSW

A 19-year-old man is the third person to be charged after a man was stabbed at Eagle Vale earlier this month.

Just before 3.30pm on Sunday (2 May 2021) emergency services were called to a sporting complex on Eagle Vale Drive following reports of a brawl and located a man with multiple stab wounds.

The man, aged 21, was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he underwent surgery and has since been released.

Following inquiries, police today (Wednesday 12 May 2021) arrested a 19-year-old Heckenberg man at Campbelltown Police Station. He was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.

He was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 13 May 2021).

Investigations are ongoing.
