Police have arrested a third teenager following a serious stabbing in Langwarrin early this morning.
It is alleged a group of boys were trying to break into a vehicle outside a property on Govan Street when a man confronted them about 12.20am.
Investigators will allege a confrontation occurred and the 41-year-old Langwarrin man was stabbed before the offenders fled.
The victim was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
Police arrested two 16-year-old boys, both from the Casey area, about 4am.
This evening, officers have arrested a 17-year-old boy from the Frankston area.
The trio are in custody and will be interviewed.
