Whitehorse Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged three males following an aggravated home invasion in Box Hill North this morning.
It’s alleged four people forced entry to a property on Trawool Street just before 4.30am.
The group allegedly stole cash from the two occupants before fleeing.
There were no injuries.
Police responded and arrested a 17-year-old boy from the Wyndham area as well as two 18-year-old men from Point Cook and Altona North respectively.
The trio have each been charged with aggravated home invasion, armed robbery, theft of motor vehicle (x2) and assault with a weapon (x2).
The two men were also charged with commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
They were remanded and will appear before the Melbourne Bail and Remand Court this evening.
The 17-year-old was remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
Police are continuing to search for a fourth person. The investigation remains ongoing.
