Three people have been charged following an incident at a carols by candlelight event in Brighton East last night.
Police were initially called to the Dendy Park event just after 8.30pm on 10 December following reports of youths fighting with weapons.
Two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy were arrested shortly after and subsequently each charged with three counts of affray, three counts of assault with a weapon, three counts of unlawful assault and three counts of possess controlled weapon.
The trio was bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
No one was injured during the incident.
