Three men have been charged after police located an alleged ‘kill car’ in Sydney’s west.
About 1.50am yesterday (Wednesday 9 September 2026), officers from Cumberland Police Area Command were patrolling Lansdowne Street, Parramatta, when they located a grey Maserati with three occupants.
Police will allege the car was displaying cloned number plates and had allegedly been stolen from an Ashfield address in August 2026.
The occupants, three men aged 28, 26 and 24 were arrested at the scene.
Following a search of the Maserati, officers allegedly located and seized a bag containing ammunition, a jerry can containing petrol, a sledgehammer and a spray bottle containing bleach.
The Maserati was also seized by police and will undergo a forensic examination.
The three men were taken to Parramatta Police Station.
The 28-year-old man was charged with:
- Participate criminal group contribute criminal activity
- Never licenced person driver vehicle on road,
- Use class A vehicle displaying misleading etc number plate,
- Drive conveyance taken without consent of owner,
- Be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner,
- Responsible person/custodian not disclose driver’s details,
The 26-year-old man and 24-year-old man were charged with be carried in conveyance without consent of owner and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
All three were refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Thursday 10 September 2026).
