Three Operation Tidal arrests in Dandenong overnight

Police from the Dandenong Frontline Tactical Unit arrested three people and seized drugs in Dandenong early this morning.

Officers were patrolling when they intercepted a vehicle on Stud Road about 2.50am.

Police searched the vehicle and located about 20 grams of heroin, a quantity of methylamphetamine, cannabis, morphine and cash which is believed to be proceeds of crime.

Three people were arrested and taken to Dandenong Police Station where they were interviewed.

A 30-year-old woman from Dandenong has been charged with traffick and possess heroin, traffick and posses methylamphetamine, possess cannabis, possess morphine and possess proceeds of crime.

She has been remanded to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court today.

A 21-year-old woman from Dandenong has been charged with traffick heroin, possess prescription medication, possess proceeds of crime and commit offences while on bail.

She has been remanded to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court today.

A 39-year-old man from Dandenong has been charged with possess a prohibited weapon.

He has been bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 26 September.

These arrests are part of Operation Tidal which utilises a highly visible police presence across the Casey, Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Police Service Areas (PSAs).

Tidal is an ongoing operation and police will continue to focus resources where they’re most needed.
