Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews are on scene at a vegetation fire burning on Netherby Road in Tiaro. The fire is in the vicinity of Netherby Road, near Deborah Road. This fire broke out earlier this afternoon and is posing no threat to structures at this time. Firefighters are working to control the fire. Nearby residents will be affected by large amounts smoke. Residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
