The FIFA Fan Festival in Adelaide/Tarntanya will take place at the Festival Plaza and is free to attend for all ages. It will be a vibrant destination for everyone to celebrate the global game and experience the best in football, music, entertainment, local culture, food, and games.

The FIFA Fan Festival offers more than just live games. Enjoy free concerts by some of the biggest names in Australian music – Kimbra, San Cisco and Montaigne – making the FIFA Fan Festival the perfect place to indulge in your love for both football and music.

Kimbra – Friday 21 July

New Zealand born pop star, Kimbra, who’s latest album, ‘A Reckoning’, released in 2023 immediately appeared as the Triple J feature album. Kimbra is best known for her duet with Gotye, ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ which earned her two Grammy Awards and was the bestselling song of the year in the USA with more than 13 million copies.

San Cisco – Saturday 5 August

Indie-pop band San Cisco have become one of Australia’s most successful independent artists amassing multiple accolades. Garnering millions of streams and critical acclaim through the release of four studio albums, San Cisco have toured the world selling out headline shows.

Montaigne – Friday 11 August

Sydney based artist Montaigne has become a major name in Aussie indie music. They have been recognised with multiple spots on Triple J’s Hottest 100 and an ARIA award for ‘Best Breakthrough Artist.’

3. Free Dance and Cultural Performances

Celebrate this worldwide event and become immersed in the culture of the visiting countries with free dance and cultural performances. Featuring traditional entertainment from performers of Irish Dancers, African Soul, Phap Hoa Lion Dancers, Matsuri Taiko, Samba, Chinese Dance Australia. The dancers will match up with the countries who are playing at Hindmarsh Stadium.

The FIFA Fan Festival is not only about watching live games and enjoying free concerts. It also offers a variety of fun interactive experiences for fans of all ages. Get your taste for football on the mini-pitch – which will host clinics, demonstrations and come-and-try sessions. Additionally, fans can test their reflexes at the reaction station or challenge each other to a game of dart board football. These interactive experiences provide a great opportunity for fans to learn new skills, make new friends, and have fun.

5. Meet the Official Women’s World Cup Mascot

Get a selfie with Tazuni, the official FIFA Women’s World Cup mascot! She is a fun, football-loving penguin, and will be making many appearances to the FIFA Fan Festival to meet and interact with fans. Tazuni is a eudyptula minor, known as little penguin, native to Australia and New Zealand and her name, Tazuni, is a fusion of her home – the Tasman Sea – and ‘unity’, a key value of the event to be co-hosted by Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand in 2023.
