Town Hall Meeting Dates Set For Draft Budget Talk

It’s Draft Budget time, and your voice matters!

Council is encouraging community members to have their say on the 2024/25 Ararat Rural City Council Draft Budget as part of its ongoing commitment to community consultation.

This important document shapes the future of our community, and we want to hear your thoughts.

Join us at one of our upcoming Town Hall Meetings to learn more about Council’s Draft Budget and understand how it impacts your district. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers directly from Council members and share your priorities for our community.

Can’t make it to a Town Hall Meeting? We’re also hosting individual drop-in sessions on Thursday 30 May 2024 at the Ararat Rural City Council offices. Simply stop by at a time which works for you between 9am and 2pm.

Council looks forward to hearing the community’s feedback.

“The upcoming Town Hall Meetings are your chance to understand how we’re allocating resources, and ensure it reflects our community’s priorities,” says Mayor of Ararat, Cr Bob Sanders. “Your feedback is crucial in shaping a strong financial plan that benefits everyone.”
