Travel deals to inspire Western Australians to explore their own backyard

  • New Caravan and Camping Voucher program offers $100 off self-drive holidays at participating parks across WA
  • WA Dream Pass campaign encourages more Western Australians to holiday at home and access exclusive travel offers
  • Tourism supports the Cook Labor Government’s economic diversification strategy, creating local jobs and boosting regional businesses

Western Australians are being encouraged to discover more of the State’s spectacular regions, with the Cook Labor Government making regional holidays more affordable.

Launched in partnership with Caravan & Camping Western Australia, the new Dream Road Trips: Explore WA voucher program offers travellers a $300 voucher for just $200, providing a $100 saving to spend at participating caravan and holiday parks across WA.

The vouchers are redeemable until 31 December 2026, driving near-term bookings for WA tourism operators, and are available to purchase until 31 August 2026 unless sold out prior.

Also boosting bookings with WA tourism operators is a new intrastate marketing campaign encouraging Westerns Australians to make the most of the WA Dream Pass and explore more of their own backyard.

Running from 20 July to 15 August 2026, the campaign will encourage more Western Australians to sign up to the WA Dream Pass and take advantage of close to 120 exclusive travel offers across the State.

The WA Dream Pass is a free digital platform available through westernaustralia.com , where travellers can browse and redeem exclusive tourism experience offers while planning holidays across Western Australia.

Since launching, the WA Dream Pass has attracted more than 7,000 active users, with over 1,200 offers and value-adds already redeemed. New offers continue to be added, giving Western Australians even more reasons to book a trip and explore the State.

Together, the two initiatives are designed to encourage more Western Australians to holiday closer to home, boosting visitation to regional destinations and supporting local tourism businesses.

They come in addition to the Kimberley Season Pass voucher program launched last week, offering 50 per cent off tours and experiences in the region to help drive more than $1 million in additional bookings this season.

The Kimberley and other regional destinations have been impacted by the rapid increase of fuel costs, with many of the towns relying on the self-drive holiday market.

Western Australia’s tourism sector entered the fuel crisis with a strong foundation to support resilience across the industry, including $19.5 billion in visitor spend recorded in the year to March 2026.
