Toowoomba Regional Council’s (TRC) discount for the current general rates notice ends today, Wednesday, March 6.
Finance and Business Strategy General Manager Ann-Marie Johnston said Council gives ratepayers a 10 per cent discount on general rates for early payments.
“Residents who pay their general rates on or before March 6 will receive a 10 percent discount,” she said.
“We understand the cost of living has risen considerably over the past few years and this discount is one of the ways we aim to reduce the financial strain for our residents.”
Council continues to work with any ratepayer facing difficulties in paying their rates and has a dedicated team available to assist residents. Please contact 131 872 to speak with someone from our team.
