Truck driver hurt in crash at Mooney Mooney, NSW

A truck driver has been airlifted to hospital after a collision on the M1 (Pacific Motorway) at Mooney Mooney this morning.

Both trucks were travelling north when the crash occurred around 9.55am (Wednesday 27 February 2019).

One truck was carrying a load of scrap metal while the other was empty.

A doctor was airlifted to the site by CareFlight to assess the injured driver, who is believed to be in his mid-40s. The second driver was not injured.
