Two men have been arrested following the armed robbery of two service stations in Sydney’s Inner West overnight.
About 2.20am (Monday 21 June 2021), a Toyota Corolla pulled up at a service station on Carlton Crescent, Summer Hill.
The passenger, wearing a balaclava, got out and approached the counter, threatening the attendant with a knife.
The armed man stole cash before returning to the vehicle, driven by a second man, and fleeing.

In a second incident shortly after, the Toyota Corolla pulled up at a service station on Unwins Bridge Road, Sydenham, about 2.40am.
The passenger, wearing a balaclava, got out and approached the counter, threatening the attendant with a knife.
The armed man stole cash and cigarettes before returning to the vehicle, driven by a second man, and fleeing.
The attendants, two men aged 27 and 19 respectively, were not physically injured.
Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
The Toyota, reportedly stolen from Redfern on Saturday (19 June 2021), was later found abandoned on George Street, Waterloo. The vehicle was recovered and seized for forensic examination.
Following inquiries, two men aged 25 and 28, were arrested at Waterloo about 5am. They have been taken to Newtown Police Station.
