Two charged following alleged break and enters, cars stolen – Central Coast

A man and a teenager will face court today charged over alleged break and enters with cars stolen on the Central Coast.

In recent weeks, officers from Brisbane Water Police District responded to several incidents where performance vehicles were allegedly stolen from suburbs including Pearl Beach, Kilcare and North Avoca.

Following extensive inquiries, a 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested at a property in Umina Beach about 10.30am yesterday (Tuesday 17 October 2023) before being taken to Gosford Police Station.

The 19-year-old man was charged with 24 offences including six counts of aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-people there, four counts of steal motor vehicle, and four counts of participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

He was refused bail to appear before Gosford Local Court today (Wednesday 18 October 2023).

The 14-year-old boy was charged with breach of bail, aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-people there, steal motor vehicle, drive conveyance taken without consent of owner, never licensed person drive vehicle on road, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

He was refused bail to appear before a children’s court today (Wednesday 18 October 2023).
