Two men in hospital after Reservoir assault

Two men are in hospital following a stabbing incident at a house in Reservoir earlier this morning.

The incident happened at an address on Winter Crescent when two men became involved in an argument just before 1am.

Police have been told that one of the men, a 24-year-old man, allegedly smashed the other man over the head with a broken beer bottle.

As a result, a 25-year-old man, sustained a severe laceration to the head and lost consciousness.

The 24-year-old man also sustained a slash injury to his shoulder and a minor head injury.

Both men have been conveyed to hospital, the 25-year-old man in a serious condition while the younger man’s injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
