Two teens assaulted in Rundle Mall, South Australia

Two teenage boys have been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital after they were stabbed in Rundle Mall late this afternoon.

Just after 5.30pm on Saturday 14 March, police and ambulance officers were tasked to Rundle Mall near Gawler Place, following reports of a disturbance involving a group of teenagers, with two people injured.

A 16-year-old boy from the northern suburbs was taken to hospital in a serious condition with a stab wound to the back, while a 19-year-old man is in a stable condition with a stab wound to the chest.

Police are currently checking CCTV cameras, speaking to witnesses and searching for the suspects, believed to be a group of up to six teenagers, last seen running south on Gawler Place towards Grenfell Street.
