Two teens die, one injured when car hits pole – McGraths Hill

Two teenagers have died and one has been injured in a crash at McGraths Hill overnight.

Emergency services were called to Windsor Road, about 9.40pm yesterday (Monday 15 January 2024), responding to reports a Nissan 200SX sedan had struck a power pole.

Officers attached Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and found two teenaged boys – who were passengers in the Nissan – critically injured; they both died at the scene.

The male driver, aged 17, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for chest and internal injuries before being taken to Westmead Hospital where he’s reported to be in a stable condition.

Police have established a crime scene with officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit now investigating the crash.

Police have been told the Nissan and a Ford Falcon sedan had allegedly collided immediately before the Nissan left the road and struck the pole.

The driver of the Falcon stopped and rendered assistance calling Triple Zero (000). He has been taken for mandatory blood and urine testing.
