Unlawful entry in Alice Springs 2 October

Northern Territory Police have released CCTV images of two men they believe have information in relation to an unlawful entry and an attempted unlawful entry in Alice Springs earlier this week.

Just before 4am on Monday 28 September, CCTV footage captured a white Holden Commodore sedan causing damage to a roller door and which provided an entry point inside a hotel on Barrett Drive.

Two men entered through the damaged roller door to a kitchen area before they were startled by staff and fled. Nothing was stolen and no one was injured in the incident.

Police are investigating whether the vehicle and its occupants are linked to another attempted unlawful entry of a licensed premises on Traeger Avenue around the same time.

At 4:10am a white Holden Commodore sedan caused damage to a roller door at the business. A staff member heard a loud noise and on investigating saw the vehicle, which then sped off.

Police are seeking public assistance to identify these two men who they believe may be able to assist with investigations.

Anyone who can identify these men, or knows of their whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and reference PROMIS numbers 9435322.
