Unlocking Opportunities: AuctionsPlus partners with Country Education Foundation of Australia

AuctionsPlus has announced a new partnership with Country Education Foundation of Australia (CEF) as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting Australian communities.

AuctionsPlus is an independent digital trading platform that offers the greatest access of information and choice to the agricultural community. It has evolved over 30 years to become Australia’s single biggest marketplace selling more livestock than any other in the country.

Vision: a thriving agricultural community, where business prospers.

A national for-purpose organisation dedicated to empowering rural and regional youth in accessing education, training, and employment opportunities, CEF awarded over 650 grants and scholarships to the value of $2,000,134 in 2022 to support emerging talented young people living in rural Australia.

According to the National Regional, Rural and Remote Tertiary Education Strategy Final report, regional Australians are less than half as likely to obtain a degree by the time they are 35 (this discrepancy can be attributed to various factors), compared to their metropolitan counterparts.

With this considered, together with the gap in post-school qualification attainment rates, supporting regional youth to overcome the unique and complex challenges they face and unlock their full potential is vital.

With a shared passion for empowering the next generation, AuctionsPlus Chief Executive Officer Wyn Snyman said the partnership between the two organisations will provide a range of new opportunities for rural youth.

AuctionsPlus is thrilled to be partnering with an organisation that has such a significant impact on the future of ambitious young people living in rural Australia.
