A 61-year-old man has died following an alleged altercation at a property on Stoney Camp Road at Park Ridge South on September 29.
Emergency crews were called at approximately 7.30pm following reports a man had been struck in the head, causing him to fall to the ground, where he was allegedly struck multiple times.
Upon arrival, a 61-year-old Park Ridge man was located with serious injuries.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he passed away yesterday, October 10.
A crime scene was declared at the incident location, and a 33-year-old Park Ridge South man was located nearby and charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is due to reappear at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on November 28.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
