UPDATE: Man shot in Clyde

Three men have been arrested after another man was shot in Sydney’s west today.

Emergency services were called to Berry Street, Clyde just before 5pm (Monday 7 January 2019), after reports of a shooting.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command attended and found a 48-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to his foot.

Police have been told the man had been involved in an altercation prior to being shot.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Police arrested three men nearby. Two men, aged 22, were taken to Granville Police Station and a third man suffering facial injuries has been taken to hospital under police guard.

A crime scene has been established as inquiries continue.
