Long awaited works to upgrade life-saving and visitor facilities at the iconic beach are moving forward with the opening of an Expression of Interest (EOI) process.
The EOI process seeks to identify suitably qualified construction organisations to complete works at the beach.
The expression of interest is open until 30 September 2020.
This is the first stage in the process and does not commit Council contractually to any future building works.
Council will shortlist the expressions of interest but not progress further pending the outcome of legal proceedings commenced by objectors to the project.
