Updated Arrivals Associated Direction 14 January, South Australia

The Emergency Management (Arrivals Associated Direction No 13) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Arrivals – Associated Direction No 14) (COVID-19) Direction 2022. This Direction came into effect at 3.12pm on 14 January 2022.

Key changes include:

COVID-19 POSITIVE TRAVELLERS INTENDING TO ENTER SOUTH AUSTRALIA:

International and interstate travellers who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 must NOT enter South Australia until 10 days from the date of their first positive COVID-19 test has elapsed.

They need to comply with the isolation, testing, reporting and other requirements of the Emergency Management (Exposure Sites, Contacts and Diagnosis Requirements No 4) COVID-19) Direction 2022.

The above DOES NOT apply to a domestic violence arrival.

INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS:

International arrivals to South Australia must produce evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken in the 3 days prior to departure and quarantine until they have a COVID-19 test taken.

International arrivals under the age of 12 years 2 months will be treated as vaccinated arrivals, no matter their status.
