The isolation requirement for people who test positive to COVID-19 is reduced from 10 days to 7 days on the condition that they have no acute symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, cough or shortness of breath) in the last 24 hours of day 7 of their isolation.

If they do have symptoms they need to remain in isolation for a total of 10 days; unless their symptoms finish prior.

This is also the case for those in medi-hotels or supervised quarantine.
