Urgent appeal for assistance: Missing woman and child in Labrador, QLD

Gold Coast police are appealing for urgent public assistance in their search for a woman and young boy missing from Labrador.

Jessica Mostyn, 31, was last seen in Vona Street around 7pm yesterday (Saturday January 28) walking with a 4-year-old boy known to her.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her safety and wellbeing and are urging anyone who has seen the pair, or has any information which could assist with this investigation, to immediately contact police.

Jessica is described a Caucasian, approximately 164cms tall, with a thin build, very short brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be wearing dark coloured clothing.

The 4-year-old boy is described as Caucasian, with a thin build and very short cropped / shaved blonde hair.

The pair were travelling on foot, and have connections with the northern end of the Gold Coast including Labrador, Southport, Runaway Bay and Biggera Waters.

Police are asking local residents and business owners to check their properties.
