Vehicle into house in Hemmant, QLD

Police are investigating a crash that occurred in Hemmant last night, August 31, where a utility collided with a house and caused serious structural damage.

At around 11.35pm the white Isuzu D-Max first collided with a parked car on Macedon Street, before continuing-on and impacting the front of a house, causing part of a bedroom wall to collapse.

The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old Bracken Ridge man, was located at the scene and has been transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital as a precaution.

The two residents of the house were in the bedroom at the time of the crash, however were not physically injured.

Police believe the man may have driven from the north-side of Brisbane and are appealing for anyone who might have relevant dash-cam footage or who may have seen the car in the area at the time, to contact them.
