Victoria Women’s squad named for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander T20 Cup

Cricket Victoria has named a 12-player Victoria Women’s squad to compete at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander T20 Cup in Albury this weekend.

The Victorian team will take on teams from the Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers on Saturday, with the top two teams to play off in the final on Sunday.

Four teams will compete in the men’s division – with Victorian teams representing the Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars also playing against teams from the Thunder and Sixers.

The women’s squad is similar to the one which recently featured at the National Indigenous Cricket Championships in Alice Springs, with 10 players again featuring in this squad.

California Gully CC’s Jasmine Burzacott and Lalor Warriors CC’s Paige Duson are the inclusions to the squad for this tournament.
