Melbourne-born behaviour change creative agency, Hard Edge recently launched a new program called MyPlace to support organisations whose employees find themselves working remotely because of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Within the blink of an eye, and across the globe in what’s been described as unprecedented times, research suggests nearly 90 per cent of organisations encouraged or required employees to work from home amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
“The world wasn’t ready for business to change so quickly,” said Hard Edge founder and Managing Director, Andrew Hardwick.
Andrew realised there was an urgent need to develop a program that provides a guiding framework for business to make this transition sustainable and productive in the long-term.
This led to building a framework with specialist consultants to work collaboratively with clients to develop and execute programs specific to their needs.
MyPlace program activities were developed using Hard Edge’s proven Educate, Motivate, Facilitate, Sustain behaviour change methodology. The program encapsulates a holistic approach to engage and support employees working from home while providing tools and knowledge for employers to connect with and develop their people while maintaining performance and wellbeing.
“New habits,” says Andrew “can start to be formed in as early as 18 days. So it’s critical employers ensure the new work behaviours their employees are forming now align with the organisation and its responsibilities they have to their people.”
