Victorians have claimed $1 million in cash back in the first week of the ‘Melbourne Money’ dining scheme, as people return to the city’s restaurants, cafes and bars.
The City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government’s $8.4 million ‘Melbourne Money’ initiative offers diners 20 per cent off meals in the municipality.
Diners who spend more than $50 are eligible to claim, with a maximum rebate of $100, and the cashback process is as simple as uploading a receipt online.
The scheme will be available until all funds are exhausted so Melburnians are encouraged to take advantage of this offer and submit claims quickly to avoid disappointment.
‘Melbourne Money’ is offered in partnership with the Victorian Government as part of its $107.4 million contribution to bolster City of Melbourne businesses and bring the buzz back.
