With large gatherings unable to proceed due to COVID-19 restrictions, Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council will undertake virtual community meetings during May 2020.

“Being able to communicate and engage with our community is an essential part of Council’s role,” Queanbeyan-Palerang Mayor, Cr Tim Overall said.

“We generally hold in-person community meetings twice a year in Queanbeyan, Braidwood and Bungendore. The meetings are very well received and allow residents to listen to updates from Council representatives and also ask questions on specific matters. Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions that are in place, we are unable to hold these meetings as normal, but we will be proceeding with virtual community meetings.”
