Voucher Scheme Relaunched to Boost Business in Katherine

NT Government

Small businesses and local traders in Katherine will benefit from another round of the myKatherine discount voucher program, designed to boost business after COVID 19 lockdowns and lockouts.

The Territory Labor Government is investing $100,000 into the scheme, which will be managed locally by Katherine Town Council.

The first myKatherine program supported 37 local Katherine businesses and was used by over 3,000 registered users. Over $720,000 of sales were generated in the local community.

Registrations are now open for eligible businesses, including those that participated in past rounds as well as new businesses that are wanting to be involved.

myKatherine uses a simple online system developed locally by the City of Darwin. Users register and redeem on their mobile phones to get an automatic discount of up to $20 when they purchase from a participating trader.
