Western Australians are being encouraged to buy local, eat local and support the State’s food and beverage producers as Buy West Eat Best month gets underway this October.
Buy West Eat Best helps shoppers identify food and beverages that are grown, farmed, fished, processed, prepared and served right here in Western Australia.
The nation’s longest-running State-of-origin food and beverage labelling program is recognised by its distinctive bite mark logo, giving consumers confidence they are choosing genuinely local products.
Throughout October, local events, in-store promotions and member-led campaigns will showcase the quality and diversity of food and beverages produced across Western Australia.
National and independent retailers will also feature additional signage and catalogue promotions, making it even easier for shoppers to identify and choose WA products.
The Cook Labor Government supports Buy West Eat Best through the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
