Walt-Sing Australia: celebrating 100 years of Australian singers and their songs

Gather your friends together and enjoy some delightful music and morning tea during Toe Tapping Tuesdays at Karralyka.

This September, Karralyka brings you Walt-Sing Australia, a new production celebrating 100 years of great Australian singers and their songs.

Step back to the year 1900 and the days of Dame Nellie Melba and Peter Dawson, before embarking on a musical journey through the decades with unforgettable songs and fascinating stories of some of Australia’s iconic entertainers including Peter Allen, Olivia Newton-John, Helen Reddy, The Seekers, Johnny O’Keefe, plus many more.

Philip Gould, an Australian and West End musical theatre star, and Michelle Fitzmaurice, an award-winning singer and actress, have teamed up again – this time delivering an anthology of Australian music spanning more than a century.

Accompanied by musical director David Cameron at the piano, the duo will perform classic hits such as I Remember You, I Honestly Love You, Tenterfield Sadler, Georgie Girl, I am Woman, Shout! and a whole lot more

Gould and Fitzmaurice have starred together in previous hit shows Frankly Sinatra and Showstoppers, both of which toured Australia to great critical acclaim.

Don’t miss Walt-Sing Australia, which promises to be a unique celebration of iconic Australian singers and their music.

There is free parking in the grounds of the Karralyka theatre. Accessible parking is available adjacent to the upper entrance off Wilson Street, Ringwood.
