Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 20-year-old man in relation to the death of a 70-year-old man in Warnbro on Thursday 1 June 2023.
About 5pm, St John WA attended a home on Okehampton Road and located the man deceased.
The matter was referred to the Homicide Squad after a post-mortem examination determined injuries consistent with suspicious circumstances.
The 20-year-old Canning Vale man, who is known to the deceased, has subsequently been charged with one count of Murder.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday, 20 July 2023.
