Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Jonathan Herbert.
The 34-year-old is wanted on warrant for breaching a court order, theft of motor vehicle and assault-related offences.
Herbert is known to frequent the Thornbury and Werribee areas.
He is described as being Maori in appearance, about 180cm tall with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
Investigators have released an image of Herbert in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
