Council will be spraying Sea Street Oval to control grass growth in drainage. This will take place on Friday 1 September, weather permitting. The spraying will take place outside of school hours so there is no disruption to school kids learning.
The products being used are Concussion 540K Herbicide and Dicamba M Selective Herbicide, which will make sure the oval stays in top shape for everyone to enjoy.
Unfortunately, this means the area will be closed to the public during the spraying. Council staff will be on site to oversee the process and signage will be in place to let you know when the spraying is happening. Once the products are dry, the area will be reopened for public use.
Spraying will be carried out in line with Council’s Pesticide Notification Plan.
