WA Health is reporting a total of 8,910 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 49,796 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 219 people with COVID-19 in hospital, six in ICU.
There has been one new death recorded today, a woman in her 80s.
Today’s report also includes five historical deaths from preceding days that were reported to WA Health yesterday, three men in their 80s, a man and woman in their 70s.
