This year, Australia’s largest sports supplement retailer Nutrition Warehouse returns with its prestigious and highly anticipated Supplement Awards. Running from 1 – 30 June, International and Australian sports supplement brands will compete head-to-head across 16 categories and includes the coveted “Brand of the Year”, “Best Supplement” and “Best Pre-Workout.” Nutrition Warehouse is inviting everyone to vote online for their favourite products in each category, with every vote entered into a draw to win one of 4x $10 000 cash prizes.

Grant Mayo, CEO at Nutrition Warehouse, is a firm believer that the Supplement Awards are the perfect platform for customers to have their say:

“We want to celebrate brand excellence and provide our customers the opportunity to support their favourite brands and products. Nutrition Warehouse is thrilled to be presenting the only Supplement Awards in Australia, plus voters can win some awesome cash prizes!”

This year, 144 of the 3,000 products that Nutrition Warehouse stocks have been nominated to compete, representing 51 of the world’s biggest and best supplement brands.Greg Hagland, owner and co-founder at Switch Nutrition, is excited his brand will be competing this year: “We are incredibly honoured to have been nominated. There are so many amazing international and Australian brands to choose from and we are so proud that Aussies are supporting Australian natural, high-quality brands like Switch Nutrition.”

Optimum Nutrition, six-time “Brand of the Year” winner, encourages customers to vote in the Supplement Awards to promote trust and validation from users in the space. Bradley Pritchard, Market Director for Glanbia Performance Nutrition, sees the awards as an opportunity to improve the perception of sports supplements in the public eye. “In a category shrouded in mystery and unknowns for the majority of the population, this platform is an important tool to foster greater usage. It’s important that manufacturers and brands are held accountable by category users, this will help to promote the category and celebrate the brands that continue to put their customers first and offer quality products with uncompromised standards,” says Bradley.

The Sports Supplement industry is worth a whopping $5.69 billion in Australia and it’s clear that each nominated brand puts their customer’s needs first with quality ingredients and world class formulas at the forefront of their minds. The Supplement Awards is an opportunity for Nutrition Warehouse to champion the hard work and determination that goes into each product. Ben Kirkham, Marketing Manager for nominated brand Max and Maxine’s, couldn’t agree more: “The fact that Nutrition Warehouse doesn’t just want to sell supplements but celebrate innovation, quality, and success along with getting valuable market feedback from real customers shows a level of care for the supplement industry that is hard to match!”

Voting for the National Supplement awards will be open from 1 – 30 June, with winners being announced early July. To cast your vote on Australia’s best supplement brand and go into the draw to win one of 4 x $10,000 cash prizes, visit awards.nutritionwarehouse.com.au.
