Campaspe Shire Council has extended the closing date of its annual WickED (Waste in Campaspe – Know Educate Do) survey, which is aimed at gathering community feedback on waste education practices and understanding current attitudes towards waste disposal.
CEO Pauline Gordon said the additional time would assist with capturing a broad range of responses from the community.
“We want to make sure we have maximised the opportunity for residents of Campaspe and Moama to respond to the survey, which will assist us in the execution of our waste education program.
“The survey helps us understand residents’ knowledge, attitudes and behaviours in relation to the environment and waste management practices in our region.”
The survey seeks feedback on the use of Council’s eight resource recovery centres, kerbside collection, illegal dumping and what goes in what bins. It provides consistent baseline data to help with identifying waste education priorities as well as the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the program year on year.
By completing the survey, respondents will go in the draw to win one of five $100 Visa pre-paid cards and a reusable Keep Cup.
The WickED survey is open to all Campaspe Shire and Moama residents, groups, businesses and schools, and can be accessed here
